Robert Shirley Associate Pastor / Minister of Education & Outreach
Robert became a Christian in 1971 and was called to ministry in 1975.  He has served mostly as Music and Worship Leader in churches of the Colbert -Lauderdale Association since 1976. Robert has served for 10 years at First Baptist Church of Sheffield. He currently serves as Associate Pastor and Minister of Education and Outreach. Robert and his wife Debbie have two children and 5 grandchildren.
 
 
 
Dr. David McCullough – Minister of Music
David is currently Professor of Music at the University of North Alabama in Florence, Al. He served for 22  years as a college band director at Campbellsville University in Campbellsville, KY. Dr. McCullough is a native of Montgomery, Alabama and holds the B.S and M.Ed degrees in music education from Auburn University, the M.M. degree in music performance from Florida State University, and D. MA. degree in music performance from the University of Georgia. Dr. McCullough has the distinction as having founded the marching bands at both West Georgia and Campbellsville, as well as the National Civil War Band Festival and is active today as a conductor, performer, clinician and adjudicator within his areas of specialty. He and his wife Marlow have four children, one daughter-in-law and one son-in-law.

Sharon Jo McBrideDirector of Children’s Ministries
Sharon Jo is from Tuscumbia, Al. She graduated from Cherokee Vocational High School and Northwest-Shoals Community College. She has been a member of First Baptist Church of Sheffield since 2013.

Tina Denton Nesbitt – Secretary
Tina accepted Jesus Christ as her savior at First Baptist Church of Sheffield in 1981. She has a B.S. degree from the University of North Alabama in Commercial Art. In the past she has worked as a Layout Artist,  Orthodontic Assistant and a Substitute Teacher all the while working as a Freelance Artist. She currently teaches art at the Tennessee Valley Juvenile Detention Facility and works as a Sales Associate at Farmers Home Furniture in Muscle Shoals, AL. Tina and her husband Boyce have two children and one grandchild.
