Dr. Ron Ethridge –  Interim Pastor
Ron has been in ministry since 1989.  He earned degrees from Samford University (B. S. in Business), New Orleans Baptist Seminary (M.Div.), and Beeson Divinity School (Doctor of Ministry).  He has served congregations in Mississippi and Alabama. Ron has been married to his wife Pam for 34 years.  He enjoys metal detecting and officiating high school football.  His desires are to glorify God and build up God’s people.   
  
 
                   
 
Rev. Robert Shirley Associate Pastor / Minister of Education & Outreach
Robert became a Christian in 1971 and was called to ministry in 1975.  He has served mostly as Music and Worship Leader in churches of the Colbert – Lauderdale Association since 1976.  Robert has served for 10 years at First Baptist Church of Sheffield. He currently serves as Associate Pastor and Minister of Education and Outreach. Robert and his wife Debbie have two children and 5 grandchildren.
 
 
 
 
Dr. David McCullough – Minister of Music

David is currently Professor of Music in the Department of Music at the University of North Alabama. Prior to coming to UNA in 2008, he served as band director at Campbellsville University (KY) and the University of West Georgia.  Dr. McCullough is a native of Montgomery and holds academic degrees from Auburn University, Florida State University and the University of Georgia.  He and his wife, Marlow, have four adult children — Chapel, Ruth, William and James; one daughter-in-law, Brittany (wife of Chapel), and one son-in-law, Michael (husband of Ruth).  Marlow is a faculty member in the UNA Department of Mathematics and serves as head of the UNA Mathematics Learning Center.    

 

 
 
Miss Sharon Jo McBrideDirector of Children’s Ministries
Sharon Jo is from Tuscumbia, AL. She graduated from Cherokee Vocational High School and Northwest-Shoals Community College. She has been a member of First Baptist Church of Sheffield since 2013.

Mrs. Tina Denton Nesbitt – Secretary
Tina accepted Jesus Christ as her savior at First Baptist Church of Sheffield in 1981. She has a B.S. degree from the University of North Alabama in Commercial Art. In the past she has worked as a Layout Artist, Orthodontic Assistant and a Substitute Teacher all the while working as a Freelance Artist. Besides her duties as our part time secretary she currently teaches art at the Tennessee Valley Juvenile Detention Facility. Tina and her husband Boyce have been married for 29 years and have two children and one grandchild.
